This kit is built around our newest module, with intelligent dwell control and heat management this conversion is guarenteed to be more reliable than other products on the market, We pair this up with our reliable Lucas Red Rotor Arm to ensure that you are getting the maximum power and performance all of the time from your ignition. The Electronic Kit replaces the existing points and condenser with our new reliable Electronic Module. The Electronic Ignition module has been developed to work with the standard ignition coil and provides service free and accurate ignition timing.

System Requirements

• 12v non Ballast Negative Earth
• Standard ignition coil with 3 Ohms resistance

Caution -

• If your distributor shaft has play (side ways movement) in excess of 1.5mm the electronic kit will emphasise this more than contact points, This will cause eratic sparking. If your distributor is warn please see our new distributor section.
• Only to be used with surpressed HT leads

Please use this chart as a guide only, the distributor in your vehicle may have been replaced, if in doubt please ring through to our sales desk with the numbers from your distributor.

Note:

Simple wiring, Red wire connects to the positive connector on the coil, the Black connects to the negative connector.
 

Warning:

Make sure not to reverse the RED and BLACK Ignition wires as this is likely to destroy the ignition module and void the warranty. Returned units are tested to identify the cause of failure.
Using a coil with too little primary resistance can cause the ignition module to overheat and fail also voiding the warranty. Please contact a member of our team if you are unsure of any details. All ignition products supplied by A-Series Spares come with a 2 year manufacturers warranty.
