This Race / Competition Electronic Lucas type 59D distributor provides your ignition system with a very high powered and accurate spark, this is our signature module and is the best your engine can get.

Specifically built for the A+ Series Engine this distributor has the later type drive dog to suit A+ blocks.

Ideal for performance engines where good spark control is required over the full rev range. This unit has been designed and built for competition engines for reliability and performance.

This unit is built without a vacuum advance unit, for these models only the casting is original. These use our latest internal parts:

• A-SD Developed fixed breaker plate

• Different advance weights and springs

• A-SD Developed cover plate

System Requirements

• 12v non Ballast Negative Earth
• Standard ignition coil with <1.5 Ohms resistance
• Only to be used with surpressed HT leads 

Simple wiring involves Red wire connecting to the positive connector on the coil and the Black connecting to the negative side

Warning:

Make sure not to reverse the RED and BLACK Ignition wires as this is likely to destroy the ignition module and void the warranty. Returned units are tested to identify the cause of failure.
Using a coil with too little primary resistance can cause the ignition module to overheat and fail also voiding the warranty. Please contact a member of our team if you are unsure of any details. All ignition products supplied by A-Series Spares come with a 2 year manufacturers warranty.
