This Fast Road Electronic Lucas type 25 / 45D Distributor provides your ignition system with a very high powered and accurate spark, this is our signature module and is the best your engine can get.

Ideal for performance engines where good spark control is required over the full rev range. This unit has been designed and built for high compression engines for reliability and performance.

Our distributors offer the same performance with greater reliability at a more affordable price than other, more expensive electronic packages on the market. Developed and tested to replace the troublesome points system with a modern magnetic pick-up electronic ignition. This unit comes complete and ready to fit to the vehicle with no external boxes, this unit is designed for the enthusiast to install.

System Requirements

  • 12v non Ballast Negative Earth
  • Standard ignition coil with <1.5 Ohms resistance
  • Only to be used with surpressed HT leads

 

Red wire connects to the positive connector on the coil, the Black connects to the negative

 

Warning:

Make sure not to reverse the RED and BLACK Ignition wires as this is likely to destroy the ignition module and void the warranty. Returned units are tested to identify the cause of failure.
Using a coil with too little primary resistance can cause the ignition module to overheat and fail also voiding the warranty. Please contact a member of our team if you are unsure of any details. All ignition products supplied by A-Series Spares come with a 2 year manufacturers warranty
