Making A Purchase

To make a purchase, Simply browse through our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping list. Out of stock items cannot be added to the cart. After you have finished your selection, click on your shopping list and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit card payment over the phone (and at our Trade stands at events)

We accept Paypal

We accept Visa and Mastercard. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, post or over the Internet.

When confirmation of the order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Discounts

There are usually offers on certain lines of products on our shop, These offers will usually be in the form of a percentage off or multiple item discounts. These offers are open to all of our customers.

A-Series Spares offer club discounts for club members with valid membership subscriptions. Club discount cannot be used in conjunction with our multiple item discounts.

We also offer account discounts for companies wanting many repeat orders, bulk discounts and our best prices on certain products.

Shipping And Handling

Our prices for shipping include insurance to protect our customers and ourselves against loss or damage whilst in transit. Our prices for shipping have been revised so that you always get the best value and security.
PLEASE NOTE that delivery price quoted at this stage is a nominal figure which is applicable in most cases for single carton orders up to 30kg.
Due to the size and weight of some items at A-Series Spares we cannot guarantee that this will be the total shipping charge.

Heavy and Bulky Items:

Due to the bulky and heavy nature of some of the items at A-Series Spares, on some occasions, we must make alternative delivery arrangements, which may sometimes incur additional charges.
These items include, Full Engine set ups and Gear boxes when listed
If your order includes any of these items, or your carriage charge will exceed that stated, we will always contact you to advise you.

For mainland UK orders, our checkout will give you options for postage, so you can pick the best option and price for you.

Free Shipping

  • UK Mainland orders over £65 before VAT the shipping are free, PLEASE NOTE, this service is insured to the value of the item and uses UKMail Next Day.
  • Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland orders over £100 before VAT are free, PLEASE NOTE, this service is insured to the value of the item and uses UKMail 48 Hour

Special Orders

Due to the popularity for some of our products such as Cylinder heads, we some times get caught out without 'on the shelf' stock, if this is the case we work on a 3 week delivered basis. You will be notified when your order is confirmed.

Tax Charges

VAT is charged on all UK and European orders and is shown in the basket when you place your order.
Countries outide of the European Union do not pay VAT and this is also reflected in your basket.

For online orders, we use pay pal check out, their security features mean that our customers will always have peace of mind when making orders at A-Series Spares

We're intent on protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: 1, to process your order and 2, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will give you the chance to refuse any promotional email from A-Series Spares

The type of information we will collect about you includes:

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your consent.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check that information by contacting us.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

A-Series Spares will NOT pass your details on to a third party.

Returns Policy

If you wish to cancel your order you should notify us by sending an e-mail to sales@aseriesspares.co.uk before we dispatch the goods to you. If the goods have already been dispatched, you can still return the items to us within seven working days of receipt for a full refund, providing that the goods are unused, in their original packaging and in saleable condition.

Items returned after 7 days from receipt may be subject to a restocking fee. (This does not affect you statutory rights)

We cannot accept returns of any items which have been specially ordered for you or manufactured to your specification.

If a product develops a manufacturing fault within 30 days, we will offer the same refund or exchange policy as above.If a product develops a manufacturing fault after 30 days, and within the manufacturer's guarantee period, a new product will be sent out immediately and charged for. A refund will be issued once the faulty product has been returned to ourselves and assessed. In certain circumstances the manufacturer could require to inspect the product before a refund is issued.

Please note that in such cases the full cost of returning the goods to us shall be borne by you. All goods should be returned to us at the address given below. You should use an insured delivery service and obtain proof of posting, in case of loss or damage during transit to us. Upon receipt of the goods we will issue you with a full refund, subject to the provisions outlined above. We accept no liability for goods returned to us in any other condition or in any other circumstances.

All returns are to be accompanied by the senders name and address, account number and reason for return. Remember, the information you provide will help us to help you.

Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods.

The Regulations require the consumer to send a notice of cancellation in writing, including e-mail.
